Professor Mallgrave earned her B.A.
maxima cum laude
from La Salle University.
She earned her law
degree from Rutgers School of Law–Camden, where she was a notes and comments editor for the Rutgers Law Journal. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and
Pennsylvania. Following graduation from law school, she clerked for the New
Jersey Superior Court Appellate Division and worked at the Philadelphia law
firm of Montgomery, McCracken, Walker & Rhoads, where she practiced
primarily in the area of commercial litigation. Professor Mallgrave has been teaching at the law school since 1993. She began her teaching in the first-year
legal writing program and has taught full-time in the Civil Practice Clinic and
as Supervising Attorney for the Rutgers Pro Bono Domestic Violence Project.
Professor Mallgrave currently teaches first-year and upper-level writing,
interviewing and counseling, domestic violence law practice, and clinical
courses.
