Rebecca Baehr


Career Planning Specialist for the Office of Career Planning and Professional Development. Ms. Baehr counsels law students pursuing public interest careers as well as those pursuing government, nontraditional, and private sector legal employment. Before joining Rutgers–Camden in 2007, she was a staff attorney at the Support Center for Child Advocates, Philadelphia Volunteers for the Indigent Program, and the Women Against Abuse Legal Center--all public interest organizations in Philadelphia. Ms. Baehr has trained pro bono attorneys and published training materials in many areas of family law, including domestic violence, custody, divorce, and dependency. She is a founder and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Independence Charter School in Philadelphia. Ms. Baehr received her J.D. from CUNY School of Law in 1993 and her B.S. from Boston University.
