Ms. Tolbert's responsibilities include counseling
students and alumni, managing specialized interviewing programs, and conducting
resume and interviewing workshops. She also serves as a harassment adviser for
the university. Prior to joining Rutgers-Camden, she worked at the University
of Pennsylvania as minority affairs officer for more than 10 years. Among her
duties as minority affairs officer, she managed the summer internship program in biomedical graduate studies. She is an active member of National
Association of Law Placement's Diversity Committee. Ms. Tolbert served as executive director of the Philadelphia Area Minority Job Fair from 2001-2008
and is currently on the board of directors. She is also a member of the Greater
Philadelphia Area Law Schools (GPALS). Ms. Tolbert received both her bachelor
of arts and master's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
