Assistant Professor of Law. Jean Galbraith teaches and writes about public international law and
U.S. foreign relations law. Her research focuses on the structure of
international legal institutions, especially treaty regimes, and the
connections between these institutions and U.S. domestic law.
Professor Galbraith received her B.A. summa cum laude from
Harvard University and her J.D. from Berkeley Law School. She clerked
for the Judge David S. Tatel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C.
Circuit and for Justice John Paul Stevens at the Supreme Court of the
United States. Prior to coming to Rutgers Camden, she was an associate
legal officer for Judge Theodor Meron at the International Criminal
Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, an associate at Hangley Aronchick
Segal & Pudlin in Philadelphia, and a Sharswood Fellow in Law and
International Affairs at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
