Nicholas Wallace is the senior associate dean for admissions and financial aid at Rutgers Law School.
Dean Wallace earned his B.A., magna cum laude, in Asian studies, political
science, and religion from St. Olaf College; his master's degree in
public policy from the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public
Affairs; and his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law
School. After law school, he was a research
fellow for the Institute for Race and Poverty, where he focused on
education, housing, and transportation issues.
Dean Wallace began his career in law school admissions at the University
of Minnesota Law School, eventually serving as director of admissions
for six years. He is currently working on his dissertation for
completion of a Ph.D. in organizational leadership, policy, and
development from the University of Minnesota, and is studying the
development of financial literacy for low-income, first-generation,
community college students of color.
