Patrick J. Ryan specializes in corporations and teaches Business Organizations, Bankruptcy, Regulation of the Financial Markets, Commercial Law, Methods of Analysis, Public Corporation, Legislation
and Statutory Interpretation, and Federal Income Tax. He previously
taught at Columbia Law School.
Prior to joining the Rutgers faculty in 1986, Professor Ryan was an
associate in law at Columbia Law School in New York from 1984 to 1986.
After being admitted to the California Bar in 1980 and the Colorado Bar
in 1981, he clerked for the Hon. Jim R. Carrigan, U.S. District Judge,
and worked for a small corporate firm, both in Denver, from 1980 to
1984.
