Diana Sclar practiced law at a San Francisco law firm and a federal government
agency in Washington, D.C., and also worked as an adjunct professor at
Georgetown Law School before joining Rutgers. Her areas of expertise
include constitutional law, federal courts, conflict of laws, and
property.
Professor Sclar earned her A.B., with distinction, from Stanford
University and her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley
(Boalt Hall), where she was notes and comments editor of the Law Review and
a member of the Order of the Coif. When not reading, teaching, or writing
about the law, Professor Sclar often can be found in her kitchen
experimenting with yet another recipe and wondering how to squeeze in
more shelves to hold the latest additions to her collection of over 800
cookbooks.
