Caroline Young is the associate director for public service, and supervises the provision of all access and reference services for faculty, students, and the general public at the Rutgers Law Library.
She teaches Advanced
Legal Research as well as oversees the library's catalog software and
related technologies. Before coming to Rutgers, Young worked at a
legal research company and was a reference librarian at the New York
University School of Medicine. She is active with the American
Association of Law Librarians (AALL) and the New Jersey Law Librarians
Association (NJLLA). She is the immediate past-chair of the Computer
Service Special Interest Section, one of the largest sections of AALL. Her research interests include medico-legal research, library systems,
and the preservation of legal materials.
