Nancy Talley provides legal research and information literacy
instruction to students through her involvement in the first-year Legal Analysis, Writing, and Research course, and in advanced courses. One of her priorities is providing research instruction to students
who are enrolled in law school where research traditionally has not
been emphasized, such as in directed research and moot courts.
Talley earned her B.A. from the Pennsylvania State University. In
2003, she obtained her J.D. from the Penn State Dickinson School
of Law, where she was a member of the Penn State Law Review. Talley practiced law in Philadelphia for seven years as a commercial
litigator before earning her M.S. in library and information science
from Drexel University.
