Major Requirements

The requirements for the Portuguese major are:

1. The satisfaction of all the core course requirements, either by placement into a higher course initially or by completing the course.
2. The satisfactory completion of an oral exam in Portuguese in the final year.
3. A total of 36 credits in Portuguese courses, or approved courses from other departments. The only 100-level courses which may count are 01:810:130, 135.
4. The completion of at least one 400-level course.

Electives:
 
         Any subject code 810 course at the 200 level or higher
