Honors
in cell biology and neuroscience are awarded to students who have successfully completed
the honors track course requirements, submitted a written research thesis, and
defended the thesis orally. To qualify for the honors track, a student must
have attained a grade-point average of 3.4 or better in courses required for
the major. The student should apply formally to the department for acceptance
into the honors program by the end of the second semester of the junior year.
