1. Introduction: One introductory course (01:615:201)

2. Theory: four B core theoretical courses (01:615:305, 315, 325, 350) 

 
3. Electives: six courses 

The required number of courses from 3 of the following sets of courses: 

a. 2 courses from (01:615:440, 01:615:451)

b. 1 course from Linguistics Courses Group C

c. 3 Courses from (Linguistics Courses Group C or D) 

 
4. Capstone experience: One course from (01:615:495, 496).

Grades of C or better must be earned in all coursework that is to be applied to the major.

5. Certificate in Speech and Hearing Sciences - Required Courses:

A total of 5 courses from (01:615:391, 01:615:392, 01:615:393, 01:615:440, 01:615:451). 

6. Certificate in Speech and Hearing Sciences - Electives: 

Elective Set I: A total of 3 credits from (Cognitive Science, Education, Psychology, Statistics electives).

And  

Elective Set II: A total of 3 credits from (Biology, Chemistry, Physics electives).
