Professor Sheppard earned her B.S. and M.S. from Cornell and her J.D.
from Rutgers. In private practice for several years, she served as
assistant administrator for Newark Legal Services until 1970, when she
joined the Rutgers faculty. She is a member of the editorial board of
the New Jersey Law Journal.
