Colb earned her A.B. in psychology in 1988 from Columbia College summa cum laude, where she was valedictorian, and her J.D. magna cum laude
from Harvard Law School in 1991. Prior to joining the
Rutgers-Newark faculty in 1995, Professor Colb taught at Rutgers-Camden
for two years, before which she clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice
Harry A. Blackmun. Her primary scholarly interest is in criminal
constitutional law.
