Chemical and biochemical engineering (CBE) is offered as a
concentration within the professional science master's program described under
Business and Science 137.
The goal of the master of business and science (M.B.S.) degree with a concentration in CBE is to educate students in the
essential skills
relevant to the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and
biotechnological
industries. The CBE concentration
requirements include: one advanced engineering mathematics course, one CBE
core course, one life science course, one materials course, and one pharmaceutical
engineering
course. The remaining courses can be taken as electives.
