Dr.
Jennifer Foster is an Assistant Teaching Professor and Director of the
Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Programs in the Graduate School
of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers University.
Prior to joining GSAPP, she spent 16 years working in the public schools
in Perth Amboy, NJ. During her tenure in Perth Amboy, Dr. Foster held
the positions of District School Psychologist and District Coordinator
of Mental Health Programs. With a strong background in systems and
large-scale program planning, she has worked closely with district
administrators and community leaders to develop and implement a range of
prevention and intervention programs. Most notably, Dr. Foster
successfully implemented a district-wide Multi-Tiered System of Supports
in which all students have access to prevention, intervention, and
wraparound programming that targets social emotional learning and the
mental wellness of all students.
