Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA

Passing score on Praxis CORE Academic Test*
The New Jersey Department of Education waives this requirement for applicants with at least: SAT score of 1660 combined (critical reading, writing, math); ACT
score of 23; GRE scores of 4.0 analytical writing and combined 310
quantitative and verbal.

Students from Newark College of Arts and Sciences and University College-Newark and from New Jersey Institute of Technology
(NJIT) are able to apply to UTEP twice a year. Application deadlines
are April 1 for fall admission and November 1 for spring admission.
