Introduction to Neuroscience (3)
This course provides an introduction to the field of neuroscience. It covers general principles of nervous system structure and function, from the subcellular level to whole-brain activity. Specific topics include nervous system physiology and anatomy, synaptic communication, the neural basis of perception, motor control, learning, emotion, and higher cognitive functions. Diseases of the nervous system will also be addressed.
