Learning Goals

Data science minors are expected to:

1. Ask interesting and meaningful research/business questions and generate testable hypotheses.
2. Know how to acquire or generate the data to answer their research questions.
   
3. Understand how to properly process data and evaluate its quality.
4. Engage in data exploration to implement the correct data analysis and modeling techniques.
5. Be aware of the strengths and limitations of various statistical tests and modeling methods.
   
6. Effectively visualize and communicate their research process and results within in the Data Science and Machine Learning workflow.
