The anthropology minor offered by Newark College of Arts and Sciences requires 18 credits (with a grade of C or better) as follows:
1. 15 credits in anthropology that must include:
21:070:204 Introduction to Cultural Anthropology
21:070:495 Seminar in Anthropology (topics vary by year, prerequisites: 21:070:204 and 21:355:102 English Composition or 21:355:104 Honors English Composition, or permission of instructor).
2. Additional 9 credits (3 courses) from anthropology
3. An additional 3 credits (1 course) of electives in anthropology or sociology. With departmental approval, related courses offered in other departments may be applied toward the minor.
