A minor in German requires 18 credits in German language and literature, which may include the intermediate courses 21&62:470:131,132 Intermediate German (or equivalent preparation as demonstrated by proficiency examination). Any of the German language and literature courses numbered 200 or higher may be taken to satisfy this requirement. Students are particularly encouraged to study abroad; credits earned in appropriate programs will be counted toward the minor.
