Students seeking to major in labor studies and employment relations
must apply for admission to the School of Management and Labor
Relations through a separate procedure from the one through which they
apply to the university.
Students must be admitted to Douglass
College, Livingston College, Rutgers College, or University College to
be accepted into the School of Management and Labor Relations. Students
are required to write a personal statement as part of their application
and to have earned both a 2.0 grade-point average or better in their
college work taken to date and a C or better in Introduction to
Labor Studies and Employment Relations (either 575:100 or 101). For
