Linda A. Reddy


Ph.D., University of Arizona 

Linda A. Reddy is a professor in the school psychology doctoral program. She has published over 140 articles and book chapters and six books on classroom assessment, coaching, ADHD, and measurement development. Her work has been funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Institute of Education Sciences, Office of Special Education Programs, and private foundations ($56 million). She is a fellow of the American Psychological Association (APA): Divisions 5 (Statistics and Measurement), 16 (School Psychology), and 37 (Children, Youth, and Families); fellow of the American Educational Research Association (AERA); and an inducted member of the Society for the Study of School Psychology (SSSP). Dr. Reddy has held numerous national leadership roles; examples include the 2014 President of APA Division 16 (school psychology), member of the APA Board of Professional Affairs (2013-2016), member of the APA Task Force for Violence Against Teachers (2008-present), and APA Council Representative (2019-2021). Dr. Reddy is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey and is a nationally certified school psychologist.

Dr. Reddy's current projects include: Principal Investigator (PI) of the Efficacy of Paraprofessional Behavior Support Coaching for Elementary School Students with Externalizing Behavior Disorders funded by the US DOE, IES National Center for Special Education Research; Co-PI Coaching System Model Demonstration Project funded by Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP); Co-PI of the NJ Tiered System of Support for Early Reading funded by the OSEP, School Personnel Development Grant; and Co-PI Technology-Support Behavioral Support Coaching: Project Select-Support-Succeed (S3) Office of Special Education Programs' Educational Technology, Media, and Materials for Individuals with Disabilities: Stepping-Up Technology Implementation Competition. Her work has received national and international awards.
