Ms. McCuen
earned her A.B. from the Rutgers–Camden College of Arts and Sciences,
majoring in English education, and her Ed.M. from Rutgers Graduate School of
Education, where she completed her degree program with a course in comparative
educational systems while studying at Jordanhill College in Scotland and
Cambridge University in England. She is a member of the Kappa Delta Pi National
Education Honor Society and has an additional 15 credits in educational
administration from Rowan University (formerly Glassboro State College). Ms.
McCuen began working at Rutgers in 1995. She became the conference coordinator
in 2000 and joined the Alumni Relations team in 2002. She was promoted to
Director of Alumni Relations for the School of Law–Camden in 2005, where she coordinated
all alumni-related activities and communications for over 9,000 former graduates
and supervised the planning of various law school sponsored events. Ms. McCuen
is also the liaison between the school and the Law Alumni Board. In 2008, she
became part of the Planning Committee for the 2009 AALS Annual Meeting in San
Diego, CA, where she served as moderator and panelist for the session:
"Increasing Participating in Alumni Relations Activities: the Nuts and
Bolts."
