Learning Goals
Students who successfully complete the writing minor will demonstrate:
an understanding of rhetorical devices and writing conventions;
proficiency in the critical reading, writing, and communication skills necessary for the academic and/or professional worlds;
proficiency in the mechanics, language, and structure of their written work; and
the ability to effectively reflect on their own writing processes.
