Sequence in Arts Management

The faculty of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts in conjunction with members of the Rutgers Business School: Undergraduate-Newark offer a sequence of six courses as preprofessional training for a wide spectrum of not-for-profit arts management opportunities. The sequence provides students with the opportunity to acquire specific business skills that can be applied to a profession in the arts. For practical experience, a wide variety of internships is available, some of which provide stipends. The sequence comprises the following 24 credits:
