received a J.D. from
Yale
Law
School, where he was a senior editor of the Yale Law
Journal. Following graduation from law school, Professor Rich held the
position of Reginald F. Lewis Fellow at
Harvard
Law
School, before serving as law clerk to the Hon. Betty B.
Fletcher of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. In 2002, he joined
Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in
New York, where his practice focused on securities fraud
litigation, commercial torts, the First Amendment, and pro bono appellate
litigation. His research areas include constitutional law, law and democracy, and
employment discrimination.
