First-Year Interest Group Seminar (FIGS) (1)
Highly interactive seminars on selected topics focusing on
career goals/potential majors of first-year students. Analysis and discussion
of presentations by a broad spectrum of faculty and alumni speakers;
introduction to and utilization of university resources. Each seminar is led by
a peer instructor closely supervised by the FIGS curriculum coordinator.
Open to first-year students only. Graded Pass/No Credit. May not be repeated for credit.

First-Year International Transition (RU-FIT) (1)
Introduction to undergraduate academic study at American research universities. Designed to assist students in the adjustment to Rutgers and to promote academic success;
topics may include time management, successful study habits, academic integrity
practices, long-term goal planning, presentation skills, group work, and
accessing university resources.
Must be an international student. Special permission required. Graded Pass/No Credit.
