Internships
Upper-level labor studies and employment relations majors are encouraged to apply for internships, which typically carry 3 credits. They may be arranged by the student, an individual faculty member, or through the department. Students must submit a description of the internship to a faculty adviser or to the director of the undergraduate program. They also participate in exchanging ideas with other students and faculty in an online segment of what is officially a hybrid course.
Approval will be contingent on the suitability of the internship and whether the student has maintained an acceptable academic record in labor studies and employment relations courses.
