Students in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (SEBS) may choose the major in genetics, which is offered by the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS). Completion of the major prepares students for diverse careers in biological research, biotechnology, and the health professions.
Students in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences who
choose the genetics degree program are required to also complete a
minor or certificate program offered by the faculty of the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences.
Effective for ALL NEW STUDENTS enrolling in the Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences beginning FALL 2015 the genetics degree program will no longer be offered.
