Rebekah Verona is assistant dean for career planning in Camden. Dean Verona earned her B.S. with honors in 1997 at Rutgers University-New Brunswick and her J.D. in 2001 at Rutgers Law School in Camden. Prior to joining Rutgers, she practiced environmental litigation at the New Jersey Attorney General's Office. Before that she served as a law clerk to the late Hon. Bryan D. Garruto, N.J. Superior Court, Law Division, Civil Part.
Dean Verona advises students and alumni on a wide range of career planning issues, including private practice, government, and public interest careers, as well as judicial clerkships and alternative legal paths. She also works closely with employers to assist them in using office resources to maximize the recruitment of Rutgers Law School students and alumni. In 2008-2009 Dean Verona served as a regional coordinator (elected) for the National Association for Legal Career Professionals. In 2012, she was awarded Administrator of the Year "in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the Class of 2012's law school experience."
