M.P.P./M.S. Dual-Degree Program
This dual-degree program leads to a master of public policy (M.P.P.) degree and a master of Science (M.S.) degree in six semesters of full-time study. This is a savings of 18 credits (6 course) compared to earning the 48-credit M.P.P. and the 40-credit M.S. degrees separately.
The Bloustein School accepts three Graduate School-Newark, Division of Global Affairs (DGA) specialization courses toward the M.P.P concentration requirement. The Bloustein School also counts the DGA internship towards the 300 hours of required internship experience for the Applied Field Experience course. DGA accepts the Bloustein Research Design course in place of the M.S methods requirement and gives credit for one Bloustein elective.
Language requirement: Students must demonstrate both reading and writing knowledge of at least one modern language other than English.
The most current program information can be found at the Bloustein School website.
