This dual-degree program leads to a master of public informatics (M.P.I.) degree and a master of public policy (M.P.P.) degree in two and a half years. This is a savings of 24 credits (8 courses) compared to earning the 36-credit M.P.I. and the 48-credit M.P.P. degrees separately.
The dual-degree program consists of the 48 M.P.P. courses and six M.P.I. courses (Theory and Practice of Public Informatics; Big Data Analytics; Intro to GIS for Planning or an equivalent course; Advanced Graphical Communication for Planners or an equivalent course).
