Art majors must complete the following core curriculum plus at least one of the
areas of concentration. Forty-eight (48) credits in the fine arts department must be acquired
to receive a bachelor of arts (B.A.) degree. Art majors must complete the following
core curriculum (27 credits) plus an area of concentration.
Transfer students: A minimum of 18 credits must be taken within the Department
of Fine Arts at Rutgers University-Camden for transfer students to receive a B.A. from the
Rutgers. In addition, upper-level courses in your area of concentration must be
taken within the Department of Fine Arts. Transfer students must consult the
chair of the department or area heads prior to enrollment for portfolio
evaluation.
