Students minoring in sociology must take a minimum of 18 credits in
sociology, anthropology, and criminal justice. No specific courses in
sociology are required except that 50:920:207 Introduction to Sociology
is recommended for all upper-level sociology courses.
Students majoring in criminal justice and minoring
in sociology must take a minimum of 18 credits in sociology,
anthropology, or criminal justice in addition to the 42 credits required
for the criminal justice major. At least 12 of the 18 credits
should be sociology or anthropology courses. Only 6 of the 18
credits required for the sociology minor may be in criminal justice
courses.
