All students minoring in criminal justice must take 21
credits: 9 credits in the core criminal justice curriculum and 12
credits from among the 300- to 400-level crime and/or criminal
justice-related elective courses in criminal justice, sociology, or
anthropology, including either 50:920:316 or 332. Students must
complete the following criminal justice core curriculum (9 credits):
50:202:201 Criminal Justice in American Society (3)
Two of the following three courses:
50:202:202 Police and Policing (3)
50:202:203 Confinement and Corrections (3)
50:202:204 Courts and Criminal Law (3)
Students
majoring in sociology and minoring in criminal justice must take a
minimum of 30 credits in sociology and anthropology and a minimum of 18
additional credits in criminal justice and criminal justice-related
courses as specified above.
