Francis Ryan, Director

This 36-credit professional program is designed for working adults with a demonstrated interest in either labor/social justice, or managing employees well. Graduates have a variety of intellectual interests and career objectives. The master's program in labor and employment relations (M.L.E.R.) combines professional training with intellectual exploration to produce graduates who are thoughtful professionals, informed leaders, and/or researchers grounded in contemporary reality.

The program is 100% online and allows working professionals enrolled part-time to balance full-time employment with coursework. Students are encouraged to start with one or two courses per semester to start. Courses are available year-round and typically are asynchronous students do not need to be online on a specific day/time to complete course activities. Students in the online courses will be both from this program and our regular MLER program.
