Learning Goals


Students who major in human resource management (HRM) will demonstrate:
  1. knowledge of theoretical and practical concepts of HRM;
  2. an ability to evaluate and apply theories of the social science disciplines to workplace issues;
  3. HRM functional capabilities used to select, develop, and motivate workers; and
  4. strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
