Master's Program in Labor and Employment Relations (M.L.E.R.)

Paula B. Voos, Director

The M.L.E.R. combines professional training with intellectual exploration to produce graduates who are thoughtful professionals, informed leaders, and/or researchers grounded in contemporary reality. Our graduates go on to work in the public policy arena, for labor organizations, for public sector management, and for corporations. The program is also appropriate for persons already working in human resources or labor relations who wish to examine contemporary problems and their solutions. The eight course requirements, along with the electives offered, provide students with a broad, multidisciplinary education in labor and employment relations.

The program is structured to be convenient for both traditional and nontraditional students. It accepts students on a full-time or part-time basis, and the course schedule is flexible enough to accommodate people who hold full- or part-time jobs. The M.L.E.R. program is a flexible program that can be tailored to meet each individual's academic and professional goals. There are no language or residency requirements.
