The increasingly global economy, where the ingredients of a medicine or the components of a cell phone may be manufactured in one part of the world and assembled in another, has created a huge demand for supply chain operations and strategy expertise in nearly every industry.
Full-time students electing to concentrate in supply chain management must take three required 3-credit courses: Supply Chain Management Strategies, Procurement Management and Global Sourcing, and Supply Chain Management Industry Project, as well as an additional 6 credits of elective courses. The electives are in two primary areas of focus: procurement and sourcing management and supply chain performance optimization and technologies. Additionally, students may choose to take courses from the popular industry series taught by distinguished senior-level business executives.
