In accordance with university regulations, attendance is expected at all regularly scheduled meetings of a course. Absences due to religious observance, university-sanctioned activities, or illness documented with the office of the associate dean of the Office of Academic Programs are treated as authenticated absences.
It is the policy of the Rutgers University not to cancel classes on religious holidays. For information on the cancellation of classes due to inclement weather, see the University Policies and Procedures section of the General Information chapter of this catalog.
