The principal purpose of the college's student life program is to
extend the student`s educational experience beyond the classroom by
providing cultural, intellectual, and professional opportunities. Some
of the student organizations are oriented to discipline-related
activities; others offer excellent training as well as opportunities to
participate directly in college and university governance.
University College Governing Association (UCGA).
The UCGA represents the University College-New Brunswick student body`s
needs and interests, oversees the activities and funding of student
organizations, and is responsible for undertaking the election of UC
student representatives to various college and university committees.
All students are encouraged to attend UCGA meetings.
The Podium. An annual literary magazine written and published by University College-New Brunswick students.
UC Senior Class. The
Senior Class is open to University College-New Brunswick students with
90 or more credits. The organization is designed to promote
participation and unity among seniors for the general welfare and
interest of the student body.
UC Yearbook. The yearbook of University College-New Brunswick is published annually by a staff of student editors.
