Areas of specialization include behavioral
and systems neuroscience, clinical psychology (American Psychological Association and Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System accredited), cognitive psychology,
social psychology, intradisciplinary developmental psychology, and
intradisciplinary health psychology.
Part-time students are not accepted into the program. There is no language requirement.
Specific course requirements and options normally are established by
each area. To the greatest extent possible, students' programs are
tailored to their career goals. A minimum of 48 course credits and 24
research credits are required in the Ph.D. program.
In
addition to the doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) program in clinical psychology, a doctor of
psychology (Psy.D.) degree in clinical or school psychology is offered
by the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. This
