Five-year Accelerated B.S./M.S. Chemistry (Traditional or Biochemistry Track)
The Department of Chemistry offers a program for selected students to obtain bachelor's
and thesis-based master's degrees in chemistry in five years. The accelerated
program requires admission to the graduate program in the spring semester of a
student's junior year.
Upon admittance to the accelerated program, the student may begin graduate
school in the summer after graduation. And upon entering graduate school, the
student will already have completed three of the courses required for the
master's degree.
