American Chemical Society (ACS) accreditation can be achieve by bachelor of arts (B.A.) or bachelor of science (B.S.) chemistry majors on the traditional or biochemistry tracks:
1. Students
on the traditional chemistry track who wish to qualify for the American Chemical Society (ACS)-certified degree
must complete the traditional chemistry B.A. or B.S. program and include 50:115:403 Biochemistry I and 50:160:413 Inorganic Chemistry.
2. Students
on the biochemistry track who wish to qualify for the American Chemical Society (ACS)-certified degree
must complete the biochemistry B.A. or B.S. program and include 50:160:325 Analytical Chemistry
and 50:160:413 Inorganic Chemistry.
