Students not majoring in biology may graduate with a minor in biology if they complete 18 credits distributed as follows: 8 credits of Biology 101 and 102 with lab, and 10 credits, excluding 120:105, from among the other offerings in the biological sciences (subject area 120). A minimum of 6 credits must be at the 300 to 400 level
(excluding 50:120:491,492). The average of all biology courses should be 2.0 or better.
Transfer students who want to minor in biology at Rutgers University-Camden, but who have fulfilled all the requirements
for this minor elsewhere, must take a minimum of two courses from among
the offerings of this biological sciences department at the 300 level
and above. A student is free to design his or her own minor program
from among the courses listed under the biological sciences. The average GPA of all biology courses should be 2.0 or better.
