Admission

The deadline for applications is February 1. Applicants, particularly those in need of financial aid, are encouraged to apply as early as possible. It is particularly important for applicants without recent GRE exam scores to have prepared for and taken the GRE before submitting an application. Approximately 6-10 students are admitted each year.

A limited number of graduate fellowships, providing for tuition and a stipend, are awarded through the Graduate School-Newark. Other special fellowships as well as partial financial support are also awarded when possible. All financial aid is awarded on a competitive basis. Renewal of financial aid is done annually subject to availability, satisfactory academic progress, and satisfactory and timely completion of assignments as teaching or research assistants.

To complete an application, please go to: www.gradstudy.rutgers.edu.
