Labor Education Action Research Network (LEARN) offers a wide range of noncredit and continuing education training programs for union members and management representatives, as well as the organizations and professions that are associated with these groups. LEARN students are emerging leaders across the state of New Jersey who want to enhance their personal knowledge and workplace skills. The individuals enrolled in LEARN programs are as diverse as the industries in which they work, including building trades, education, safety, customer service, telecommunications, health care, and government. LEARN also offers a Public Sector Labor-Management Relations Certificate Program that is jointly sponsored by the New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC) and SMLR. All courses are taught by Rutgers University faculty, PERC staff, and experienced labor-management professionals. The classes are open to all interested members of the public sector labor-management community. Participants will earn an Achievement Certificate from Rutgers University.
