A minor in Italian requires 18 credits in Italian language and literature, which may include 21:560:131,132 Intermediate Italian (or equivalent preparation as demonstrated by proficiency examination). Any of the Italian language and literature courses numbered 200 or higher may be taken to satisfy this requirement. Students are particularly encouraged to study abroad; credits earned in appropriate programs will be counted toward the minor.
