Academic foundations courses offered by the Department of Education and Academic Foundations are taken based on placement examinations in mathematics and writing or by special permission; students may receive a maximum of 6 credits in these courses. Students must earn a grade of C or better to complete the writing/reading and mathematics courses offered for credit.
